Vaction: Cancun

Akiko and I went on vacation to Cancun in Summer, 2003. I went with my friends Scott Waits and Linda Waits.

We took a shorter vacation than I wanted -- 4 days and 3 nights -- and it was full of activity. It wasn't the mosts relaxing vacation, but it was fun.

We spent one day in XTerra, a theme park with a convoluted theme (seemed to be "mexican vacation" themed).

We spent a second day visiting Chitchen Itza, the Mayan pyramids.

We don't have very many pictures, because the X-Ray machine at the airport destroyed most of Akiko's pictures. She did a better job of documenting our journey than I did, so she had the majority of pictures.

I actually feel pretty guilty about that. We were in the airport in line to go through the security check, and Akiko wanted to keep her film out of the x-ray machine. The security guard was trying to push us through, and we were pretty disorganized, so I got short-tempered and insisted on x-raying her stuff.
